The chilean Ministry of Public Works, will pave around 200 km-lane on the year 2014. The projects are a 45 km  einforced concrete pavement on the south of chile, another 45 km in a highway in the island of Chiloé in the tenth region, a concrete reinforced arterial road in Santiago. Another interesting project it that it has been constructed a ultra-thin concrete pavement of 10 cm of fiber reinforced concrete as an alternative of a double treatment asphalt in a low volume road. This solution is even cheaper than the asphalt solution.
